James Cole

James was born about 1794 in Coles Creek Settlement, Natchez District, Mississippi. James' father was Solomon Cole and his mother is Elizabeth Davis. His paternal grandparents were James Cole Jr and Mary Rentfroe. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Stephen, Susanna, Polly, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named David. James is no longer alive.
