Zenon was born on October 10th, 1800.  Zenon's father was Ameda Bourque and his mother was Rosalie Mire.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Bourque and Marie Leblanc; his maternal grandparents were Joachim  (Bénoni) dit Bénoni Lemire and Madeleine Melançon. He had two brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, Jean and Marie.  He was the third oldest of the four children.
