Peter was born on July 19th, 1849 in Tartumaa, Nõo kk, Tähtvere, Kardla. Peter's father was Karl Adamson and his mother was Liso Ige.  His paternal grandparents were Ado and Madli. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Jakob, Märt, Jaan, Johann, Michel, August Karl Michel, Marri and Anna Marie.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Friedrich, Liso, Els, Wio and Anno.  He died at the age of 79 in 1928.
