Louis was born in 1805.  Louis' father was François Pieters and his mother was Ivonne Carolina Vanlandere.  His paternal grandparents are Livin Pieters and Jacobe Vanquathem. He had two brothers named Leo and Augustinus.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 69 on June 6th, 1874.
