Remigius Benoit

Remigius was born on June 4th, 1813. Remigius' father was Josephus Xavier Benoit and his mother was Barbe Thérèse Tanghe. His paternal grandparents were Joannes Baptiste Benoit and Maria Josepha Thiers. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Franciscus, Petrus Ludovicus, Ivo, Karel Lodewijk, Guillaume Leo, Jean Frederic, Maria Anna, Maria Theresia, Flavie Francisca, Camile Rosa and Angela Theresia. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 84 on February 21st, 1898.
