Elisa Maria Ghislenia was born on January 24th, 1848. Elisa Maria Ghislenia's father was Petrus Jacobus Benoit and her mother was Rosalie Monie. Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Baptiste Benoit and Maria Anna Christiaens. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Petrus Leonardus, Joannes Constantinus, Eduardus Henricus, August Gustaaf Johannes, Maria Victoria, Clemence Dorothea, Octavie Leonie and Maria Cornelia Cecilia. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 3 on October 10th, 1851.
