Andreas was born on August 12th, 1757.  Andreas' father was Judocus Benoit and his mother was Anne Marie Busschaert.  His paternal grandparents were Carolus Benoit and Maria Catharina Coucke. He had a brother and four sisters, named Joannes Carolus, Joanna, Brigitta, Anna Marie and Marie Barbe Thérèse.  He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named Marie Jeanne and Petrus Josephus.  He died at the age of 67 on December 4th, 1824.
