Adelaide was born on April 17th, 1900 in Eia (Eie), Sokndal, Rogaland, Norway and her christening took place in Sokndal Kirke, Egersund, Norway.1  Adelaide's father was Teodor  Olsson Helleren (Eia) and her mother was Berthe Gurie  Pedersdtr  Egeland (Heskestad).  Her paternal grandparents were Ola Torsen Helleren (Revsland ) and Anne Tonnesdtr Hatleskog; her maternal grandparents were Peder Villassen Eikeland (GrosFjell) and Ane Gurie Nilsdtr Roydland. She had five brothers and a sister, named Peder, Ola, Trygve Birger, Peder Antoni , Peder Anfin and Anna Cecilie .  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 83 on March 1st, 1984 in Våle Kirkergård, Norway.  The funeral took place on March 6th, 1984 in Våle Kirkergård, Norway.  She was buried in Sokndal kirke, Egersund.
