Mary Whitling 
Mary was born on December 23rd, 1854 in South Otterington, York, England.1 Mary's father was Henry Manfield and her mother was Rebecca Whitling. Her paternal grandparents were James Mansfield and Rachel Wright; her maternal grandparents were John Whitling and Mary Couldwell. She had a brother named Samuel. She was the younger of the two children.
