Donald was born in 1867 in North Dell, Barvas, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland.1   Donald's father was Farquhar Murray and his mother was Catherine Campbell.  His paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his paternal grandmother was Catherine; his maternal grandparents were Angus Campbell and Mary McKay. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Malcolm, Alexander, Elizabeth, Jessie and Rachel.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 59 on May 19th, 1926 in North Dell, Barvas, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland.2
