Michael Foley

Michael was born in 1843 in Limerick, Ireland and his baptism took place on September 27th, 1843 in shanagolden, Co Limerick, Ireland.¹

  Travelled from Ireland to Melbourne, Australia on the ship 'Mindoro' in 1857.  Michael was aged 13.

Michael's father was James Foley and his mother was Catherine (Kate) Lyston. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Juditham, Johanna and Honorah.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 72 on July 16th, 1915 in Queensland, Australia.
