William Bruce

William was born on March 19th, 1858 in St Vigeans, Angus, Scotland. William's father was William Wallace Bruce and his mother was Isobel Hardie. His maternal grandparents were Patrick Hardie and Betty Greig. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Peter, David, Robert, David, George, James, Annie, Helen, Agnes, Isabella and Margaret.
