Philip Henry was born on January 14th, 1794 in Winchester,  Frederick,  Virginia,  United States.  Philip Henry's father was JOHN Philip Helphenstine and his mother was REBECCA Wolfe.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Philip Helfhenstein and Catherine Berger; his maternal grandparents were Michael Wolf and Maria Gertrude Brumbach. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Lewis, Jacob, Peter, William P, Sarah Lucy, ELIZABETH, Susannah and Ruth.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 49 on August 28th, 1843 in Fleming,  Kentucky,  United States.
