Cora Hampton

Cora was born in October 1882 in Magoffin, Kentucky, United States.¹ Cora's father was Matthew Hampton and her mother was Mary Polly Ann Gullett. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hampton and Susannah Caudill; her maternal grandparents were JAMES Christopher Gullett and PATSEY Bailey. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named George M., William, Joseph, John, Darius, Martha E., Nancy Jane, Mary, Fannie or Fanna, Louisa Lula, Laura and Florence. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 17 in 1899.
