His paternal grandparents were Richard Allen IV and Mary Elizabeth Holt. He had nine brothers and seven sisters, named Richard, Robert, William Hunt, Joseph, Drury, Josiah, Jacob, Robert, Joseph, Agnes, Susanna, Agnes, Mary, Judith, Margaret and Anne. He died at the age of 19 in 1730 in Virginia, United States.-
