William Longespee
William was born about 1200 in Salsbury, Wiltshire, England. William's mother is Ella Countess of Salisbury. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Steven (Justicar of Ireland), Bishop of Salisbury Nicholas, Ida, Richard, Isabel and Ela Countess. He died on February 7th, 1250 in Al-Mansura on the Nile, Egypt.General Notes
William Longespée, 2nd Earl of Salisbury was born circa 1200.
He was the son of William Longespée, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Ela, Countess of Salisbury.
He married Maud de Clifford, daughter of Walter de Clifford.
He married Idoine de Camville, daughter of Richard de Camville and Eustache Basset, circa 1216.
He died on 7 February 1250, killed.
