Count Ruprecht of Laurenburg I

Ruprecht was born about 1102 in Laurenburg, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.¹ Ruprecht's father was Count Dudo of Laurenburg and his mother was Countess Irmgard of Arnstein. His maternal grandparents were Count Ludwig of Arnstein I and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Arnold and Demudis. He was the oldest of the three children. He died before May 13th, 1154.¹
