Stephen S. Skaggs

Stephen was born on March 13th, 1820. Stephen's father was William Skaggs and his mother was Polly Pierce. His paternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Mary Thompson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Fielding, Jeremiah, Henry, Rachel, Libby, Louisa and Eliza. He was the sixth oldest of the nine children. He had three half-sisters named Elizabeth, Mary and Nancy. He died at the age of 77 on April 26th, 1897.
