James Skaggs

James was born in 1700 in On a ship from Ireland.¹ James' father was Richard Thomas Skaggs and his mother was Mary Thear. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bussell Skaggs and Ann Wollard. He had three brothers and a sister, named Aaron, Richard, Thomas and Susannah. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 98 in 1798.
