Moses M. Skaggs

Moses was born in 1834 in Kentucky.¹ Moses' father was William T. Skaggs and his mother was Susan Reeves. His paternal grandparents were William David Skaggs and Margaret Hoover; his maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Richard, William, George, Joseph, Jasper, Benjamin, Joshua, Susanna and Chloe. He was the second oldest of the ten children.
