George Scott

George was born in 1750 in Bedford Co., Virginia.¹ George's father was William Scott and his mother was Lucretia (Lucy) James. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Scott and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Thomas James and Alice Garland. He had ten brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William, Charles, Acton, John, James, Evan, Joseph, Obediah, Peter and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
