Mathila von Sponheim

Mathila was born in 1134.¹ Mathila's father was Meinhard of Sponheim and her mother was Countess Mathilde of Mhorsberg. Her paternal grandparents were Count Stefan of Sponheim and Baroness Sofie von Hamm; her maternal grandparents were Count Adalbert of Morsberg and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gottfried, Krafto, Albert, Hiltrud and Ida. She was the youngest of the six children.
