Countess Irmgard of the Mark

Irmgard was born in 1308 in Mark Hamm, Westfalen, Prussia.¹ Irmgard's father was Count Engelbert of the Mark and her mother was Mathilde d' Arenberg. Her paternal grandparents were Count Eberhard of the Mark I and Countess Irmgard of Berg. She had a brother and a sister, named Adolf and Richardis. She was the oldest of the three children.
