Count Adolf of Mark II

Adolf was born in 1314 in Mark Hamm, Westfalen, Prussia.¹ Adolf's father was Count Engelbert of the Mark and his mother was Mathilde d' Arenberg. His paternal grandparents were Count Eberhard of the Mark I and Countess Irmgard of Berg. He had two sisters named Irmgard and Richardis. He was the second oldest of the three children.
