Countess Judith of Northumbria (Fausta of Flanders, Judith of Flanders) 
Judith was born in 1027 in Flanders, Belgium.1 Judith's father was Baldwin of Flanders V and her mother was Princess Adelais Capet of France. Her paternal grandparents were Baldwin of Flanders IV and Ogive de Ardennes; her maternal grandparents were King Robert II (The Pious) Capet Of France and Constance Of Toulouse. She had three brothers and a sister, named The Frisian, Richard, The Peaceable and Maud. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, The Burgundian, Alix and Le Bon. She died at the age of 67 in 1094.2 General Notes

She is the half-sister of the Count of Flanders.Per Weis' "AncestralRoots. . ." (166:23), she is the daughter of BALDWIN
IV, rather than of BALDWIN V, as some sources state. She married the
Earl Tostig of Northumbria before marrying WELF.
