Florent of Holland I (Florent de Gand) 
Florent was born in 1017 in Vlaardingen, Zuid Holland, the Netherlands.1 Florent's father was Thierry de Gand III and his mother was Oethilde de Nordmark. His paternal grandparents were Count of Holland & Ghent Arnulf Holland I and Liutgard Luxembourg. He had a sister named Bertrade. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 44 on June 28th, 1061 in Nederhemert, Gelderland, Netherlands.2 General Notes
