Sir John de Thwenge 
Sir John was born in 1261 in Kilton Castle, Brotton, Yorkshire, England. Sir John's father was Marmaduke de Thwenge and his mother was Lucia De Bruce. His maternal grandparents were Peter II De Bruce and Hawise de Lancaster. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Robert, Sir Edmund, Margery and Alice. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 69 on December 2nd, 1330.General Notes
