Robert de Thwenge

Robert was born in 1258 in Kilton Castle, Brotton, Yorkshire, England.¹ Robert's father was Marmaduke de Thwenge and his mother was Lucia De Bruce. His maternal grandparents were Peter II De Bruce and Hawise de Lancaster. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Sir John, Sir Edmund, Margery and Alice. He was the second oldest of the six children.
