John de Sudeley 
John was born in 1087 in Toddington, Gloucestershire, England.1 John's father was Harold de Sudeley and his mother was Maud d'Avranches. His paternal grandparents were Ralph (The Timid) Hereford and Gytha; his maternal grandparents were Earl of Chester Hugh (le Gros) d'Avranches and Ermentrude de Clermont. He had a brother named Robert. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 53 in 1140.1 General Notes
