Alexander de Paynel 
Alexander was born in 1098 in Drax, Yorkshire, England.1 Alexander's father was Ralph de Paynel I and his mother was Maud de Surdeval. His maternal grandparents were Richard de Surdeval and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named William, Jordan and Helias. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 49 in 1147 in Hooten Pagnell, Yorkshire, England.1 General Notes
