Count of Luxemburg Henry (The Blind) de Namur

Henry, known as The Blind, was born in 1113.¹ The Blind's father was Godfrey de Namur and his mother was Countess Ermenside de Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Adalbert de Namur III and Ida Billung of Saxony; his maternal grandparents were Conrad de Luxembourg I and Clemence of Poitou. He had a brother and three sisters, named Clemence, Elizabeth, Beatrix and Adelaide. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugo and Mechtild. He died at the age of 83 in 1196.²
