Earl of Leicester Simon de Montfort (L'Amaury) IV 
Simon was born in 1150 in Montfort-sur-Risle, Eure, Normandy, France.1 Simon's father was Simon De Montfort III and his mother was Countess Maud d'Evereux. His paternal grandparents were Amaury de Montford III and Agnes de Garlande; his maternal grandparents were Sheriff of Salisbury, Earl of Salisbury Edward d'Everaux and Maud FitzHubert. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thurston, Amaury, Guy, Matilda and Bertrade. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Hugo and Amice. He died at the age of 68 on June 25th, 1218 in Toulouse, France.1 -
