William ap Gruffydd de la Pole 
William was born in 1275.1 William's father was Owain ap Gryffud de la Pole and his mother was Joan Corbet. His paternal grandparents were Gruffud ap Gwenwynwyn and Hawise le Strange; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Corbet and Katherine le Strange. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Llywelyn, Gruffydd, Owain, Jane and The Hardy. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 53 in December 1328.1 -
