Jane verch Owain de la Pole 
Jane was born in 1279 in Cyfeiliog, Montgomeryshire, Wales.1 Jane's father was Owain ap Gryffud de la Pole and her mother was Joan Corbet. Her paternal grandparents were Gruffud ap Gwenwynwyn and Hawise le Strange; her maternal grandparents were Robert de Corbet and Katherine le Strange. She had four brothers and a sister, named William, Llywelyn, Gruffydd, Owain and The Hardy. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
