Isabeau de Coucy

Isabeau was born in 1166 in Boves, Picardie, France.¹ Isabeau's father was Sire Raoul de Coucy and her mother was Agnes de Hainault. Her maternal grandparents were Comte Baudouin le Batisseur de Hainault IV and Adelheid de Namur. She had three sisters named Yolande, Ade and Agnès. She was the second youngest of the four children.
