1st Earl of Leicester Robert (Blanchmains) de Beaumont III 
Robert, known as Blanchmains, was born in 1130 in Leicester, England.1 Blanchmains' father was Robert (The Just) de Beaumont II and his mother was Amice de Montfort. His paternal grandparents were 1st Earl of Leicester Robert de Beaumont I and Isabel (Elizabeth) De Crepi; his maternal grandparents were Ralph De Gael and <Unknown>. He had six sisters named Eleanor, Isabel, Elizabeth, Margaret, Hawise and Mabel. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 60 on August 31st, 1190 in Durazzo, West Albania.1 General Notes
