James David 'Jim' Yates 
James David 'Jim' was born on March 8th, 1896 in Van Buren Co, TN. James David 'Jim''s father was Bryant Yates and his mother was Mary Ermine Simmons. His maternal grandparents were George Washington Simmons and Mary Elzana Crain. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thomas 'Tommy' R., Mary Ann and Della Isabel. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 98 on April 13th, 1994 in Spencer, Van Buren Co, TN. He was buried in Old Sodom Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
