Hazel Raye Wilson 
Hazel Raye was born on October 18th, 1923 in Person Co, NC. Hazel Raye's father was William Samuel Wilson and her mother was Nanny Florence Painter. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Gilliam Painter and Elizabeth J. 'Betty' Rhew. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Burnice 'Bunnie' Richard, Willie Thomas, Ernest Wright, Luther Thomas, William Samuel 'Dub', Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Lucille, Rosa Ellen, Ethel May, Nannie Florence and Lottie Alice. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 74 on March 2nd, 1998 in Person Co, NC. She was buried in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Roxboro, Person Co, NC.General Notes
