Obediah Walters

Obediah was born in August 1765 in Halifax County, Virginia.¹ Obediah's father was Thomas Walters and his mother was Lucy Walker. His paternal grandparents were William Walters and Elizabeth Robertson. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, Thomas, Clement, Archer, William, Abraham, Wilmoth, Agatha, Lucy and Margaret. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.
