John Norman was born in 1876. John Norman's father was George Walton WHITEHURST Sr. and his mother was Fannie Thomas VOWLES. His maternal grandparents were James Henry VOWLES Md and Sarah Martha Wallace NORMAN. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, George Walton, Joseph Slaughter, Vivian Aubrey and Mattie. He was the oldest of the six children.-
