Sarah Martha Wallace was born in 1818 in Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA.. Sarah Martha Wallace's father was Thomas NORMAN Esq. and her mother was Frances STEWART. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph T. Norman and Sarah EVERETT. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Stewart, Joseph Thomas, Jane Catherine and Lavinia Lewis. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Gabriel Yancey, Jefferson, Mildred Tutt, Lucy Latham, Kesiah, Frances T., Ann (Nancy), Elizabeth, Mary Layton, Myra H. C. and Georgianna. She died at the age of 75 in 1893. She was buried in Norman Family (Fairfield) Cem., Stevensburg ?, Culpeper Co., VA..General Notes
