Walter Chandler WALLINGFORD 
Walter Chandler was born on February 10th, 1832 in Mason Co., Kentucky.1 Walter Chandler's father was Mark WALLINGFORD and his mother was Sarah Ann APPLEGATE. His paternal grandparents were Joseph WALLINGFORD and Elizabeth WILLETT; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin APPLEGATE and Hannah PETERS. He had three brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, William Harvey, Joseph Buckner, Hannah Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Julina and Mary Margaret. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on March 12th, 1894.2 General Notes
