Samuel Cortez Veasey 
Samuel Cortez was born on March 4th, 1909 in Granville Co, NC. Samuel Cortez's father was Samuel 'Sam' Henry Veasey and his mother was Lula Belle Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Edward P. Roberts and Frances Forsyth. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Wesley Floyd, Luther Aubrey, John Edward, William, Robert, Grace Lee, V. Francis and Dorothy Belle. He died at the age of 87 on August 18th, 1996 in Durham, Durham Co, NC.General Notes
