Minerva Tilley 
Minerva was born in 1832 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC and her baptism took place in Census 1860. Minerva's father was James Tilley and her mother was Temperance Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were George Roberts and Nancy Mize. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named George William, Joel, Hinton Vance, James Sidney, Atlas, Emmett Harrison, Dock, Henry Adolphus, Adeline, Nancy Caroline, Julia Ann, Edna A. and Parthenia. She was the third oldest of the fourteen children.General Notes
