Alta Payne Terry 
Alta Payne was born on December 2nd, 1890. Alta Payne's father was Miles M. Joel Terry and her mother was Martha Alice Plumlee. Her maternal grandparents were William Plumlee and Mary Polly Standlee. She had a brother and three sisters, named Vaul, Mary Rachel, Clara and Golda. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 85 in December 1975 in Highlandville, Christian Co, MO. She was buried in Highlandville, Christian Co, MO.General Notes
