Ted, known as Ted, was born on September 19th, 1943 in Buffalo, Dallas Co., MO.. Ted's father was Jesse Oren REEVES and his mother was Mary Louise CLEMONS. His maternal grandparents were Nip (Nip) Jr. and Vera **** NORMAN. He had a brother named Frank William. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 62 on December 17th, 2005 in Marshall, Saline Co., MO.. He was buried on December 21st, 2005 in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cem., 467 S. Odell, Marshall, MO..General Notes

Fred E. "Ted" Reeves, 62, of Marshall, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Rev. Russ Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Don Bartholomew, Scott Bartholomew, Bobby Heathers Jr., Bradley Lyon, Richard Lyon and Craig Reeves. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Sept. 19, 1943, in Jackson County, he was the son of Jessie Reeves, who survives of Buffalo, and the late Mary Clemmons Reeves. He was a carpenter and a resident of Marshall most of his life.
Additional survivors include his stepmother, Elsie Reeves of Buffalo; one son, Jeff Reeves of the state of Missouri; three daughters, Christy Lyon of Armstrong, Stephanie Estrada of Elko, Nev., and Felicia Reeves of the state of Missouri; one sister, Shirley LeMaster of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
NOTE: I do not know who the sister was who preceded him in death. Probably a step or half sister. DB)
