John Baron of Stanhope 
John Baron of was born in 1565 in Shelford, Nottinghamshire, England.1 John Baron of's father was Thomas Stanhope KNIGHT and his mother was Margaret Port. His maternal grandparents were John Port and Elizabeth Giffard. He had two brothers and a sister, named Edward, Thomas and Anne. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 46 in 1611.1 -
