William Catron Spears 
William Catron was born on December 30th, 1893 in Pointer Creek, Pulaski County, Kentucky. William Catron's father was James William Spears and his mother was Isabella Spaw. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah "Ki" Spears and Catherine "Caty" Wesley; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Spaw and Frances "Fanny" Dick. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named George Riley, Hezekiah "Hessie", Albert Theodore "Bert", Rufus, John Thomas, James Hubert, Banlow, Christopher Columbus, Fannie Catrin, Octolona, Mary Ellen, Sarah Martha and Rosetta. He was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 55 on September 21st, 1949 in Somerset, Kentucky. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetary.-
