Burnette Skaggs

Burnette was born in 1867.¹ Burnette's father was Uriah Skaggs and her mother was Levina Bell. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Skaggs and Rhoda Warren. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, Hugh, Atwood, William A., Charles C., Andrew, Ada, Ida B., Emmie S. and Creassie Lucretta. She was the oldest of the eleven children.
