Myrtle E. was born in 1905 in Cumberland Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1920. Myrtle E.'s father was Samuel 'Sam' Walter Simmons and her mother was Louella Scarbrough. Her paternal grandparents were Drury Simmons and Emma Seales. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Arnold, Samuel Roscoe, Mable I. and Lillie I..
